This collaborative project was a response to a brief in collaboration with Western Sydney University and Sydney Water. The task for this project was to shift public perceptions about the value, quality and benefits of drinking Sydney’s tap water. The idea behind this concept was to address the energy use in manufacturing plastic bottled water, particularly with oil – where a quarter litre is used to produce one litre of bottled water. The project was a guerilla style campaign and I took inspiration from the art of Banksy which incorporates striking illustrative imagery which is subtle but loud at the same time. This concept was later selected to pitch to a collective group of Sydney Water representatives.
